Aragonia is a country located south of Terre d'Ange. It is the equivalent of Spain and Portugal. It borders Siovale and the nation Euskerria. The people speak Aragonian. The major cities are Amilcar and New Carthage. Nicola L'Envers y Aragon, cousin of Ysandre de la Courcel, is married to the King's brother Ramiro Zormin y Aragon.
During Kushiel's Mercy, General Astegal of Carthage invaded and conquered a good portion of Aragonia. The spell placed on the City of Elua kept Terre d'Ange from interfering. The King surrendered and Serafin L'Envers y Aragon led the Aragonian resistance. Astegal laid siege to Amilcar, but he was defeated by the combined forces of Aragonia and Euskerria. The Aragonians agreed to grant Euskerria its independence in thanks for their assistance.
